About Us
The Fishers of Men National Tournament Trail presents the “Legacy Series”. Legacy is competitive fishing for the next generation and offers an exciting opportunity for both Adult and Junior fishermen. Each Legacy Division will conduct a minimum of two tournaments scheduled during the “prime time” of fishing in their respective areas. Tournaments will be preceded by one of our popular Friday night pre-tournament meetings where anglers and their families receive a free meal, hear an inspirational message and have the opportunity to win valuable door prizes.
To participate, a team must consist of one angler who has reached his/her 19th birthday before Sept 10th 2009 and one angler who has not reached his/her birthday before Sept 10th 2009. The Membership fee for Legacy is is $30 per team which covers the adult and any junior member. Also, any Team series adult member holding a $55 Gold Memberships is eligible to fish a Legacy event with a junior angler.
Tournament entry fees for the Legacy events are $75 per tournament, making them affordable for the budget minded family. Tournament payout is based on the number of entries, with the top 1/3 of the field and first and second place big bass earning a check.
In 2009 Fishers of Men will conduct one Legacy Championship on July 24th and 25th. To qualify for the National Championship a Legacy team must fish one Legacy Division event. The Entry fee for the Championship event will be $100. Location of the Championship will be announced later.
There will be no off limit period for Legacy series events or the National Championship in 2009. |
