InteractiveAngler.com collects user submitted information such as name, email address, phone, address, city, state, zip, and home lake where only the name, email address, state and home lake are required fields to assist in our "Search for An Angler/Club/Guide" function. We will also use this information to contact the users with any services that they sign up to receive updates (ex. Tournament update feature).

User information on the Angler/Club/Guide homepages including pictures, handle, home lake, home state, and club are displayed to everyone to help build an INTERACTIVE community. A person will be able to search for an angler by using first/last name, lake, or state.

InteractiveAngler.com has many links to many different fishing websites. InteractiveAngler.com is not responsible for the privacy policies and/or practices on other sites. We would encourage our anglers to read their privacy policies.

Security

InteractiveAngler.com accounts are secured by member created passwords and this website takes precautions to keep member information private. Employees only have access if they need the information to perform their job functions. The servers are kept in a secured facility.

Changes in Our Privacy Policy

As InteractiveAngler.com grows, there will be changes and updates to make our privacy policy current. We will post these changes on our site so anglers will know how we use, collect and disclose their information.

Tournament Updates

If an angler would like to sign up to receive updates on tournaments on particular lakes, we have them fill out their name and email address and we send them an email on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month listing tournaments for the next 60 days of their chosen body of water.

Private/Public Journal Entries

Within "My Fishing Homepage", anglers keep details of their fishing trips. InteractiveAngler.com will use statistical data from these entries; however, we will not share any of your private journal entries.

Log Files

We use a third party to track movement through out our site, IP addresses, and gather demographic information for aggregate usage. We cannot link IP addresses to identifiable information.

Public Forums/Message Boards/Fishing Report Posts

InteractiveAngler.com has public forums, message boards, and fishing report posts that are available for the anglers to use. If you disclose any personal information (ex. full name, email address)

Choice/Opt-Out

At any time, an angler can Opt-Out or Unsubscribe to any of InteractiveAngler.com's updates.
